AVA38
Offering traditional dishes from allover Ecuador, AVA 38 serves fresh and colorful dishes that will brighten your day or even remind you of home. Growing up on 38th Avenue in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where foot and car traffic hardly died, and a variety of restaurants opened shop every day, founder Vicenta Castro wanted to share the dishes that raised her with her community. AVA 38 captures Ecuadorian cuisine as colorful, vibrant, and diverse. With this project, I tried to stray away from older, traditional takes on Ecuadorian-themed restaurants and went for a bright and modern twist. Colors and textures are based on staple Ecuadorian ingredients: plantain, lime, red onion, and avocado.
